“The winter solstice is celebrated at this time in the northern hemisphere but it is now time to celebrate the summer solstice (Litha) in the southern hemisphere due to the seasonal differences. Yule is when the dark half of the year relinquishes to the light half. Starting the next morning at sunrise, the sun climbs just a little higher and stays a little longer in the sky each day. On December 4th 2025, the full moon will take place in Gemini. The moon will be opposing the sun and mars in Sagittarius, which is fitting for the moments gearing up for holiday gatherings where many of us have to deal with the overwhelming bustle of getting things ready for gifts and family gatherings, the overstimulation of a house full of relatives, and maybe even some tense relationships that have a pattern of resulting in conflict or high stress moments during the holidays.
